Walkers Corporate Services' office in Delaware opened in May 2010, providing Registered Agent and Corporate Secretarial Services to our global client base.
The decision to open in Delaware was a response to our clients' needs, many of whom have a number of Delaware entities within their corporate structures, alongside companies incorporated in Cayman, BVI and other key global centres.
The flexible corporate regime and tax system in Delaware has made the state a major centre for company incorporations, with over 850,000 entities currently registered there. Our clients have told us that they wanted the same service offering and added value applied to their Delaware entities as they were already receiving from Walkers Corporate Services in our other jurisdictions.
Our Delaware office is based in Wilmington and is led by Vice President Renee Haggerty. Renee joined Walkers Corporate Services in 2010, bringing vast compliance and regulatory experience from her previous positions in New York with a major investment bank and corporate services provider CT Corporation.
