Max advises investment banks, investment managers and private equity houses on a broad range of private equity and hedge fund matters.
He focuses on the structuring and formation of investment funds, supporting clients throughout the fund lifecycle from downstream transactions to deregistration and winding up. His expertise also includes advising on general corporate matters and M&A transactions.
Max is experienced in advising on the establishment and structuring of foundation companies and on projects involving cryptoassets, decentralised finance and blockchain focused funds.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers in January 2025, Max was an associate in the Corporate team at Trowers & Hamlins LLP. In this role he gained broad experience in mergers and acquisitions, series financing, and corporate governance.
