Chris Beck is an associate in the Insolvency & Dispute Resolution Group.
He joined Walkers in October 2023 and is a member of the Insolvency & Dispute Resolution Group, with experience in complex commercial litigation, cross-border disputes, fraud and contentious and non-contentious insolvency. He has advised a broad range of stakeholders in the financial services, investment funds, media, technology and energy sectors.

Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Chris was an Associate in the dispute resolution and investigations team at Ashurst in Sydney, Australia. He regularly advised listed companies, Wall Street banks, and international organisations on a range of complex commercial disputes and regulatory investigations.
Before joining Ashurst, Chris spent four years at 5 Wentworth Chambers in Sydney, working as a Research Assistant to The Honourable Elizabeth Raper and acting as Assistant Clerk to counsel including The Honourable Dr Annabelle Bennett AO SC, former Judge of the Federal Court of Australia, David Bennett AC QC, former Solicitor-General of Australia and The Honourable Stephen Burley. He also has two years' financial services experience, having worked in the operations team at global asset manager BNY Mellon, London.
