He has been in private practice for 20 years and has been working offshore since 2015.
Jamie’s regulatory practice focusses on advice to regulated businesses on anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CFT) issues, all forms of regulatory investigations, enforcement processes and remediation programmes, data protection, suspicious activity reports (SARs) competition law and sanctions. Having been a commercial litigator previously, his practice has a particular focus on contentious regulatory matters.
Jamie regularly acts for large commercial clients, corporate trustees, major accountancy firms and investment banks.

Prior to joining Walkers in 2020, Jamie spent almost five years in the commercial litigation team at another leading offshore firm in Guernsey. Before that Jamie worked in the litigation teams of two major firms in Scotland where he is admitted as both a solicitor and Notary Public.
