James practises Cayman Islands, BVI and Bermuda law and specialises in all forms of corporate and commercial disputes.
James also advises on cross-border insolvency and restructuring related matters.
James has participated on a number of complex and high value disputes, including matters relating to fund disputes, shareholder litigation, breach of duty and trust disputes, and matters relating to contractual disputes, as well as winding up proceedings.
James has also worked on IPOs, listing rules compliance matters, privatisations, urgent injunction applications, schemes of arrangements, and application for company restorations. He has acted for private clients, listed companies and international corporations.
James re-joined Walkers' Hong Kong office in 2023 and is a member of the Insolvency & Dispute Resolution Group. He is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Prior to re-joining Walkers, James worked for another offshore law firm in Hong Kong. He also worked in the corporate department of an international law firm.
