Andrew Gibson is the Director of Legal at Walkers Professional Services (WPS) and is based in the Cayman Islands.
He leads the in-house legal function within WPS and is responsible for all legal drafting and for defining and implementing strategies for the mitigation of key legal and operational risks.
Andrew joined WPS in 2022 having previously worked as a Senior Counsel in Walkers' Insolvency & Dispute Resolution Group since 2013. In addition to his broad commercial litigation background, he is an arbitration specialist and an accredited civil/commercial mediator.
Andrew has considerable offshore experience having previously worked in the Middle East at a leading international law firm.

Experience and recent work
Andrew previously worked in the Litigation practice of Gibson, Dunn &; Crutcher LLP in Dubai. During that time he also spent six months on secondment with GFH Capital Limited, one of the Middle East's leading private equity investors, advisors and fund managers.
