Michael Tansley

Michael has more than 14 years’ experience in advising domestic and international clients on financial services tax matters.
He advises clients across a range of financial services sectors. That includes:
- CLOs, asset-backed securitisations and all forms of structured finance
- investment management and funds tax (investor & fund side)
- distressed debt
- revenue interventions including audits and investigations.
Michael has a particular expertise with respect to the Irish securitisation regime and fund formation and has acted on numerous complex cross border transactions.
Experience and recent work
Michael joined us from a leading domestic law firm where he was a Tax Director. Before this he was a Legal Director for a global law firm in their Dublin office.

- Ireland - Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) (not a practising solicitor)

- Master of Taxation, University of Limerick
- Bachelor of Law and Accounting, University of Limerick
