Where disputes arise, Marcél acts for trustees in connection with breach of trust claims, working closely with the firm's contentious trusts team.

Marcél is recognised for his expertise at the intersection of trust law and emerging asset classes. He advises on the design and implementation of bespoke structures for the holding, trading and long-term stewardship cryptoassets and other digital assets, including the creation of dedicated trust vehicles with tailored provisions for digital wallets, custody arrangements, private-key succession and the governance of on-chain activity such as staking and decentralised finance. He also advises on structuring intellectual property assets within trust and corporate frameworks, including licensing, royalty and revenue-sharing arrangements that balance commercial exploitation with long-term asset protection and succession planning.
