As a member of our Investment Funds Practice Group, he also advises on both Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands law for a range of corporate and finance transactions.

Experience and recent work
Before joining Walkers, Ian worked in the Corporate Energy team at Herbert Smith Freehills in London. Here he advised on several high-profile mergers and acquisitions mainly in the oil and gas sector. Ian also spent time on secondment in Hong Kong and with Hess Corporation in London.
