Jan Golaszewski joins Walkers team in London as Insolvency & Dispute Resolution partner

Leading offshore Insolvency & Dispute Resolution lawyer Jan Golaszewski has joined Walkers team in London in a lateral partner hire from another offshore law firm in the City.
Jan joins Walkers London office, which is the sole firm ranked Tier 1 for Cayman law and Tier 1 for BVI law across all ranked areas in both of Chambers and Legal 500 (2023 UK guides). 

He joins fellow London based offshore dispute resolution and insolvency partners Fraser Hern, Andrew Chissick and Jennifer Maughan in Walkers Insolvency & Dispute Resolution practice group which is the largest and most senior offshore offering in the UK market.

Jan has 20+ years' experience in private practice as an onshore and offshore disputes lawyer in London, the Caribbean and Asia, specialising in multi-jurisdictional commercial litigation, arbitration and insolvency matters.

He trained and qualified with Freshfields in London and practised in their Hong Kong office before moving to offshore work, spending 13 years in the Cayman Islands before moving back to London in 2021.
