We have acted as Guernsey counsel to Chrysalis Investments Limited advising on its £70m debt facility with Barclays Bank, which aims to grow the fund’s capital allocation strategy.
The debt facility is structured to provide flexible funding so Chrysalis Investments can pursue its strategic objectives, including continued investment in its high-growth portfolio companies. Alongside the £70m committed is also an uncommitted accordion of £15m. The facility will support the fund’s capital allocation strategy.
Our team advising Chrysalis Investments was led by partner Zoë Hallam and senior associate Camilla Hobbs, who provided Guernsey legal advice throughout the deal.
Zoë Hallam, partner in Walkers' Banking and Finance team, commented: “We continue to support Chrysalis Investments and we're pleased to have helped on this debt financing transaction, enabling Chrysalis to continue supporting its portfolio companies as it seizes new opportunities in the market.”
Chrysalis Investments' shares have a premium listing and are admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market for listed securities. The fund focuses on investing in dynamic and fast-growing companies and continues to adopt a proactive approach to capital management. The debt facility will help strengthen its position in managing liquidity, while delivering value to shareholders.
