Walkers advises Seyond on its US$1.51 billion de-SPAC transaction with Techstar

Seyond Holdings Ltd., a global leader in the design, development, and production of automotive-grade LiDAR solutions, announced the signing of its business combination agreement with Techstar Acquisition Corporation. The de-SPAC transaction will result in the listing of the Seyond as the successor company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Our cross-border corporate team acted as Cayman Islands legal counsel for Seyond. The team was led by Cayman Islands based partner, Hugh Anderson, supported by Hong Kong based partner, Mark Cummings, and senior counsel Michael Beck, counsel Kevin Ho, senior associate Beverly Lui and associate Samuel Buchan.
