Our British Virgin Islands (BVI) team has once again acted as BVI counsel to the lenders in connection with three bilateral credit facilities granted to Arcos Dorados Comercio de Alimentos S.A., for an aggregate principal amount of $150m. Arcos Dorados is the world's largest independent McDonald's franchisee.
Our team consisted of BVI office managing partner Matthew Cowman and associate Royan George.
We worked alongside Milbank LLP who provided US legal counsel to the lenders on the transaction.
