Asian Legal Business (ALB) has recognised our work at the China Law Awards 2026, naming two Walkers advised transactions as Deals of the Year.

The awards highlight how we support clients on capital markets transactions with clear, practical legal advice, backed by years of experience across Greater China and international financial hubs.

The recognition reflects our continued focus on helping clients navigate fast moving markets and deliver transactions seamlessly, from planning through to execution.

We thank our clients for their trust and congratulate our colleagues across the award winning teams. We also thank ALB China Law Awards for the recognition.

Equity Market Deal of the Year (midsize) – Pony AI Dual Primary Listing on Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX)

We advised Pony AI Inc., a global leader in the large-scale commercialisation of autonomous mobility, in relation to its dual primary listing on HKEX.

Our team, led by Corporate & Investment Funds partners Mark Cummings, Kevin Ho, and assisted by senior associate Beverly Lui, advised on all Cayman Islands legal aspects of this transaction and its  NASDAQ IPO in 2024.

This IPO, raised HK$6.71 billion, marks a major milestone in Pony AI's growth journey, enabling the company to accelerate its go-to-market strategy, scale its Level 4 autonomous driving technology, and invest further in research and development across its key markets.

Debt Market Deal of the Year (midsize) – Bilibili Convertible Senior Notes and SEC-Registered Delta Placement

We advised Bilibili Inc., a large Chinese online anime streaming platform, on its offering of US$690 million convertible senior notes and concurrent offering of 10,281,240 Class Z ordinary shares.

Our team, led by Corporate & Investment Funds partners Mark Cummings, Kevin Ho, and senior associate Beverly Lui, advised on all Cayman Islands law aspects of the transaction and worked alongside the issuer's lead counsel, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP, to act as Cayman Islands legal counsel, on this deal.

Bilibili Inc. plans to use the proceeds from the notes to upgrade their content for consumer benefit and to facilitate user growth, IP asset creation, and reach the company's full potential.
