Our corporate team recently acted as Cayman Islands legal counsel to Samos Energy Acquisition Corporation, a special purpose acquisition company, on the successful closing of its US$230 million initial public offering and listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
Samos Energy Acquisition Corporation issued 23,000,000 units, including the full exercise by the underwriters of their overallotment option to purchase an additional 3,000,000 units, at a price of US$10.00 per unit. The units trade on the NYSE under the ticker symbol SAMO.U. The offering closed on 13 July 2026, generating gross proceeds of US$230 million.
