Our Guernsey, Jersey and London teams have once again achieved strong results in the Legal 500 UK 2027 guide, securing 18 practice area rankings and 32 lawyer rankings across our European business and reinforcing our position as a leading offshore law firm in the UK market.
The latest guide saw us retain our Tier 1 rankings for Banking and Finance, Corporate and M&A and Employment in Guernsey, as well as our Tier 1 ranking in the Offshore Firms in London category. We also secured a new ranking for Guernsey Regulatory and Risk advisory, reflecting the continued growth and success of the team.
Across our European offices, our teams were recognised across a broad range of disciplines, including banking and finance, capital markets, corporate and commercial, dispute resolution, employment, investment funds, private client, trusts and tax, and regulatory and white-collar crime. The guide also recognised 32 lawyers across Jersey, Guernsey and London, including a number of individual promotions and new recognitions that reflect the depth of talent across our European business.
The results come as our European business celebrates 25 years in the region and follows our recent shortlisting for Offshore Firm of the Year at the Lawyer European Awards 2026.
Commenting on the results, Hughie Wong, managing partner of Walkers' London office, said:
'As we celebrate 25 years in Europe, it is particularly pleasing to see our people and practices recognised once again in this year's Legal 500 guide.'
'The breadth of recognition achieved across our business, including 18 practice area rankings and 32 ranked lawyers, reflects the depth of expertise we have built over the past 25 years and, most importantly, the trust our clients continue to place in us. From market-leading practices in Guernsey and London to the continued strength of our teams in Jersey, these results demonstrate the quality of advice and service we continue to provide across our European business.'
'I would like to thank our clients and industry contacts for their continued support and congratulate all of our colleagues whose expertise, collaboration and commitment contributed to these results.'
