We acted as Cayman Islands law counsel to Heidelberg Materials in connection with Francisco Partners' acquisition of a majority stake in Command Alkon from Thoma Bravo.
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest manufacturers of building materials and solutions and has retained a significant minority stake in Command Alkon as part of the transaction. Command Alkon is a global provider of software and technology solutions for the heavy building materials industry.
Our team was led by Neil McDonald, partner and head of our Corporate and M&A group in London, supported by Investment Funds partner Alastair King, Regulatory & Risk partner Benjamin Twidle, Corporate senior counsel Tom Esler and Investment Funds senior associate Sam Burford-Yeo.
Neil McDonald commented: 'We are pleased to have advised Heidelberg Materials on this important transaction. This mandate reflects our continued strength in supporting leading international corporates on complex cross-border M&A transactions involving offshore structures. It was a pleasure to work alongside Heidelberg Materials and the wider deal team in delivering a successful outcome.'
