We have been named Offshore Firm of the Year at the Global Restructuring Review (GRR) Awards 2026 and we have continued a strong track record of recognition in the GRR 30 for the ninth consecutive year, where we remain the highest-ranked investment hub law firm.
We were also shortlisted jointly with Grant Thornton Channel Islands for the GRR Pioneering Spirit Award and Impactful Judgment of the Year for our work on the RTI Limited case.
This recognition reinforces our position among the world’s leading restructuring and insolvency practices and reflects the strength and depth of our global Insolvency & Dispute Resolution team.
Matthew Goucke, Cayman Islands office managing partner and co-head of Insolvency & Dispute Resolution in the Cayman Islands, commented: ‘Being named Offshore Firm of the Year is strong recognition of the quality and depth of our global practice. Our teams regularly work together across jurisdictions on complex restructuring and insolvency matters, bringing together the expertise our clients need wherever a matter takes them.’
Nigel Sanders, head of Insolvency & Dispute Resolution in the Channel Islands, added: ‘Our joint shortlisting with Grant Thornton Channel Islands for the Pioneering Spirit Award recognises the value of collaboration across disciplines. Complex situations often require advisers to work closely together to develop practical solutions and we are pleased to see that approach recognised.’
Tom Pugh, head of Insolvency & Dispute Resolution in Asia, said: ‘Our ninth consecutive year in the GRR 30 demonstrates the consistency of our practice internationally. Maintaining that recognition over such a sustained period reflects the strength of our teams across our markets and the trust clients continue to place in us.’
