James has experience in advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, corporate restructurings, capital raisings and general corporate matters.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers in 2026, James worked at a top tier New Zealand commercial law firm, where he specialised in private M&A. He advised corporate, institutional and private equity clients on acquisitions, disposals, capital raisings, restructurings and governance matters.
