Thomas Devereaux is a Vice President in Walkers Professional Services' Bermuda office.
He provides directorship services to local and exempted companies across various industries, including insurance companies, shipping companies, CLOs, special purpose financing and securitization vehicles. A dual-qualified Chartered Governance Professional and Solicitor, Tom has over a decade of experience advising boards and senior management on company law and corporate governance matters across multiple sectors.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Tom held senior governance roles within the UK insurance/reinsurance and professional services industries, where he provided corporate structuring and governance advice and led the development and implementation of corporate governance frameworks for multi-jurisdictional group structures.
Qualifications
Education:
- Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales (not practising)
- Chartered Governance Professional, Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland
- Legal Practice Course (Distinction), Westminster University, London
- Graduate Diploma in Law, Westminster University, London
