Alex is an associate in Walkers' Regulatory & Risk Advisory practice, advising clients on regulatory, compliance and risk management matters in Jersey.

He advises domestic and international clients on a broad range of regulatory matters, including AML/CFT obligations, data protection, economic substance, licensing, regulatory applications, sanctions, and general corporate compliance and governance. He also advises businesses in Jersey and onshore about their obligations under Jersey's regulatory regime.

Alex has extensive onshore and offshore experience gained in both private practice and in-house legal roles across the financial services, retail and medical devices sectors. He has particular experience working with regulated businesses, trust companies and corporate service providers, and advising on a wide range of legal, regulatory and commercial matters.

Experience and recent work

Before joining Walkers in 2026, Alex was a Senior Associate in the Corporate, Commercial and Trusts department of another leading Jersey law firm.

Prior to that, Alex served as Senior In-House Counsel for a global regulated services provider specialising in corporate and fiduciary services, fund administration and capital markets.
