McKay Drigo joined Walkers' British Virgin Islands office as an Associate in 2023, on the successful completion of her articles.
She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in July 2021 (Middle Temple) and to the BVI Bar in December 2021.
McKay has experience across all areas of BVI commercial litigation and insolvency both final and interlocutory and regularly assists in matters before the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal. She has appeared in both the Civil and Commercial Divisions of the BVI High Court.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, McKay worked as a regulator in the Banking, Insolvency and Fiduciary Services Division of the BVI Financial Services Commission.

McKay is a member of the BVI Bar Association and the BVI Restructuring and Insolvency Specialists Association.
McKay was the BVI's 2020/2021 recipient of the United Kingdom government's prestigious Chevening Scholarship. McKay was also a recipient of a national scholarship from the Government of the Virgin Islands.
