Olivia specialises in corporate transaction and governance work, with a particular focus on fintech, blockchain and digital assets.
She works on complex cross-border public and private corporate transactional matters involving Cayman Islands entities, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, continuations, business combinations, series financing and strategic investments, as well as general corporate governance and structuring matters.
Olivia is also experienced in advising blockchain, crypto and Web3 projects, fintech companies and service providers on matters relating to token issuances, decentralised networks, decentralised autonomous organisation structures, NFT platforms, gaming platforms, and other digital asset related matters. She regularly advises founders, development companies, financial institutions, and emerging technology companies at all stages of their lifecycle; from early-stage fundraising and incorporation of the Cayman Islands foundation companies, exempted companies or limited liability companies, through to token or protocol launch and beyond.

Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Olivia worked in the Corporate (M&A) department of MinterEllison, Brisbane, Australia, focusing on complex local and cross border private equity, public and private mergers and acquisitions, global restructures and other corporate advisory matters. Olivia also advised clients on general commercial contracting and information technology and intellectual property related matters (with a particular focus on trade marks).
