Alvina advises on commercial disputes, insolvency and restructuring, international arbitration, trust litigation and asset recovery and enforcement matters.

Alvina has a broad commercial disputes practice, advising on contentious matters arising from corporate and commercial relationships, distressed situations and financial services activity.

Her practice includes commercial and contractual disputes, shareholder and other corporate disputes, contentious insolvency matters, asset recovery and enforcement, and disputes involving complex financial or transactional arrangements. She also has experience of investigations and matters involving regulatory or reputational issues.

Alvina’s previous experience within KPMG UK’s legal function gives her additional insight into disputes and investigations involving professional and financial services businesses, and the wider issues that can arise alongside formal proceedings. She also brings an understanding of financing structures from earlier asset finance experience.

Alvina speaks English, Russian, French and Romanian.

Experience and recent work

Before joining Walkers, Alvina was Legal Counsel at KPMG UK and completed a secondment with Taylor Wessing's Disputes & Investigations practice. She previously worked in commercial dispute resolution at Ward Hadaway and asset finance at Clifford Chance.
