Tiani advises on commercial litigation, contentious insolvency matters and cross-border restructurings, specialising in breaches of director's duties, antecedent transactions and Cayman Islands schemes of arrangement.

Tiani's practice focusses on contentious insolvency matters, with a specialism in breaches of director's duties and antecedent transactions, and cross-border commercial litigation. Tiani's practice also includes cross-border restructuring transactions and advising on schemes of arrangement in the Cayman Islands.

Experience and recent work

Prior to joining the Walkers team, Tiani trained and practised at Jones Day in London, where she represented multinational corporations, financial institutions and insolvency practitioners. Tiani acted for the liquidators of the BHS group of companies on their high-profile investigations into one of the largest retail collapses in recent history, which culminated in one of largest awards against the previous directors of the company for wrongful trading and established the novel concept of "Trading Misfeasance".
