Jessica has particular expertise in insurance and M&A, advising clients on complex corporate transactions, restructurings, governance and regulatory matters.
She advises insurers, financial institutions, investment funds, private capital sponsors and corporates on a broad range of strategic and business-critical matters. Her practice spans domestic and cross-border acquisitions and disposals, corporate reorganisations, joint ventures, corporate finance transactions and regulatory advisory work.
Jessica is particularly recognised for her expertise in the insurance sector, where she advises insurers, insurance managers and insurance-linked structures on transactional, regulatory and governance matters. She leads Walkers' Guernsey insurance practice and is a member of the firm's Global Insurance Group, working with clients and colleagues across key international insurance markets. She is also co-founder of Guernsey's Women in International Insurance Network.
Jessica has considerable experience advising on acquisitions and disposals involving regulated financial services businesses, including fiduciary, insurance and investment sector entities. She works closely with clients and their advisers to navigate both transactional and regulatory considerations, delivering practical and commercially focused solutions.
Prior to returning to Guernsey, Jessica practised as an M&A lawyer in the UK, advising on domestic and cross-border acquisitions, disposals and corporate reorganisations. Having also worked in Walkers' BVI, Jersey, she brings a strong cross-jurisdictional perspective to complex offshore and international transactions.
