Tamsin West is a Senior Knowledge Lawyer at Walkers in London, supporting the investment funds legal teams globally.
She supports Walkers' global offices on legal resources, precedents and client memoranda, with a particular focus on investment funds under Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey law.
Tamsin has extensive experience advising on both closed and open-ended investment fund structures, throughout their lifecycles, from formation and fund-raising through to downstream acquisitions and exits, as well as end-of-life issues.

Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers in London, Tamsin was a Partner in Walkers' Cayman Islands Investment Funds Group acting for leading investment managers in both the private equity and hedge fund spaces.
Tamsin previously practised at both 'Magic Circle' and top US law firms in the City of London, with a focus on investment funds.
