Laure-Astrid is an associate in our Insolvency & Dispute Resolution team in the Cayman Islands and has experience in insolvency litigation, shareholders' disputes and in complex commercial litigation, including cross-border fraud and asset tracing claims.
Laure-Astrid was called to the English Bar in 2014 and practised at a common-law set in London prior to moving to the British Virgin Islands (BVI) in 2017. She joined Walkers in the Cayman Islands in 2025.
At the bar, Laure-Astrid’s practice consisted of high-profile international litigation as well as commercial, regulatory and personal injury matters. Whilst in the BVI, Laure-Astrid worked at another international firm whereby she developed a broad practice and, in particular, gained experience in the fields of commercial and business disputes, insolvency and civil fraud. She has experience dealing with various urgent applications for interim relief, including applications for worldwide freezing orders and the appointment of provisional liquidators.
