David Williams joined Walkers' Bermuda office in 2026 as a Senior Associate in the Insolvency and Dispute Resolution Group.
David has extensive insolvency and commercial litigation experience across a number of different sectors.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, David spent over 10 years practising as a barrister in England and Wales for a Legal 500 Top Tier Set. Primarily working for major banks, finance houses and office holders, David's work included:
- General commercial litigation, including contractual matters, shareholder disputes and injunctive relief
- Asset recovery and high value return of goods applications
- Debt recovery matters
- Claims arising from directors' breaches of duty and antecedent transactions
- Disputed winding up petitions

- England and Wales (not practising)
Education:
- Bar Professional Training Course (Nottingham Law School)
- Graduate Diploma in Law (BPP)
- BA History with French (University of York and l'Université de Provence Aix-Marseille
