Bicrom Das is based in Walkers' Cayman Islands office where he is senior counsel in the firm's Global Investment Funds Group. He advises on all aspects of funds work and has experience in a broad range of funds transactions.Bicrom advises investment managers, private equity houses and their onshore counsel in relation to Cayman Islands corporate and partnership structures.
Prior to joining Walkers, Bicrom worked in the Investment Funds department of Hogan Lovells (previously Lovells) in London, where he advised fund managers on the formation and management of investment fund products domiciled in a number of jurisdictions. He also advised funds listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and was admitted to trading on the Specialist Fund Market of the London Stock Exchange on their IPOs and secondary issues, as well as advising fund management houses on the formation and launch of unlisted products across the private equity, hedge, real estate and infrastructure sectors.Bicrom spent six months on secondment to Cordea Savills, a London based fund manager, as well as six months seconded to Lovells' Paris office.
