Paul joined Walkers' Hong Kong office in August 2014 where he spent two years representing clients in relation to complex corporate and financial restructuring and insolvency matters whilst regularly advising on commercial disputes related matters. Paul is now based in the London office undertaking similar work.Paul has a wide range of experience in advising on multi-jurisdictional restructuring and insolvency matters (whether contentious or non-contentious), regularly representing some of the world’s leading funds, banks, financial institutions, corporates and insolvency practitioners in complex cross-border insolvencies and restructurings. Paul advises clients on all aspects of Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands voluntary and involuntary insolvency proceedings, security enforcement, receiverships, schemes of arrangement and the manner in which offshore rights and remedies can be used to effect corporate and financial restructurings of multinational corporates.Paul also has experience of shareholder and limited partnership disputes, unfair prejudice proceedings, just and equitable winding up proceedings, derivative actions, ex-parte applications for urgent interim relief including freezing injunctions, applications to recognise and enforce foreign judgments and arbitral awards, trust disputes and fraud and asset tracing claims.
Paul practiced as an insolvency and restructuring specialist in a highly regarded firm in the UK, as well as undertaking general commercial litigation matters.
