Jonathan Betts is a Partner* and head of the Corporate and Finance practice at Walkers' Bermuda office. Jonathan advises Bermuda-based and international clients on a broad range of corporate matters, focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and banking and finance transactions. He also advises in relation to the formation of investment funds and insurance matters.
*The title of "partner" is used to refer to a consultant or employee of Walkers (Bermuda) Limited with equivalent standing and qualifications.
Prior to joining Walkers, Jonathan worked in the banking and finance practice of Clifford Chance and SJ Berwin’s private equity group in London. In July 2004, he joined another offshore law firm in Bermuda and has practiced on-island since then.
