Rupen is a partner in the Finance and Corporate Group of Walkers' Hong Kong office. Rupen advises on Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and Jersey law in relation to general lending, bilateral and syndicated financings (both secured and unsecured), asset and equity financing, insurance financing and general corporate matters.
After completing his training with McGrigors (now merged with Pinsent Masons) in London, Rupen moved to a leading offshore firm in Jersey where he joined the Finance Services Group, dealing with securitisations and general lending transactions. In 2007 Rupen joined the Corporate & Commercial department of another offshore firm in its Hong Kong office where he developed expertise advising on a broad range of cross-border multi-jurisdictional financings and general corporate matters. Rupen joined Walkers' Hong Kong office in January 2016.
