Johanna Hendry

Johanna Hendry is a senior counsel based in the Dubai office where she is a member of the firm's Global Finance and Corporate Group.

She advises on Jersey, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and Bermuda law in relation to general banking, leveraged, acquisition and project finance and private equity and general corporate transactions.

Experience and recent work

Johanna joined Walkers' Dubai office in September 2017 from Minter Ellison in Sydney, where she was a Senior Associate in the Banking and Finance team advising on general corporate finance transactions, including leveraged finance, mergers and acquisition finance and debt restructures.

Before joining Minter Ellison, Johanna was a Senior Associate in Walkers' Jersey office advising on a variety of corporate, finance and investment funds matters in Jersey, the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands.

Prior to that, Johanna worked in the corporate department of SJ Berwin in London specialising in corporate transactions involving private equity funds.
