Practice Areas

James Denham is a senior associate based in the London office. He joined Walkers in 2018 and is a member of the firm's Global Finance and Corporate Groups.

James advises on both Cayman Islands law and BVI law aspects of a broad range of finance and corporate transactions. His practice includes debt and equity finance, asset finance and general corporate lending, with a particular focus on derivatives and structured finance.

Prior to joining Walkers, James trained and worked as an Associate at Allen & Overy LLP in the Derivatives and Structured Finance team. Work here included a variety of OTC derivatives transactions, regulatory work, contentious Lehman Brothers matters and a secondment to the Structured Finance and Securities Desk at Credit Suisse.

James has also spent a year in the Cayman Islands advising on the Cayman law aspects of a wide range of finance and corporate transactions.
