Rhonda joined Walkers' British Virgin Islands office in August 2018 as an associate in the Insolvency & Dispute Resolution Group. Her practice covers a wide range of commercial litigation matters with particular focus on corporate litigation and insolvency.

She routinely advises investment managers, corporate trustees and corporate directors in relation to BVI corporate and trust structures and her experience includes advising on corporate governance, shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements and all aspect of BVI companies and corporate structures.

As a litigator she has worked closely with international legal teams and represented clients on a variety of matters including cross-border commercial disputes, shareholder disputes and corporate insolvency, disclosure applications and other applications for urgent interim relief.

Prior to joining Walkers, Rhonda worked as in-house counsel for an international trust company in the British Virgin Islands. She also spent five years as an associate at another leading law firm in the British Virgin Islands working across both the Corporate and Litigation departments.
