David Pytches is based in Walkers' Cayman Islands office where he is a partner in the Private Capital and Trusts Group.

David advises private clients, trust companies and other financial institutions, and their onshore advisors, on all aspects of Cayman and BVI wealth structuring, including the formation, administration and restructuring of trusts and foundations, charitable and philanthropic ventures, and wills and succession planning. He is regularly instructed by trustees to advise them on the exercise of their powers and duties and to help them take difficult decisions and mitigate risk.

Prior to re-joining Walkers in 2018, David led the Private Client and Trusts practice at Appleby in the Isle of Man; before that he was in-house counsel to Standard Bank's Wealth and Investment Group in Jersey and, prior to that, head of trusts at Conyers Dill & Pearman in the Cayman Islands. David worked at Walkers previously, between 2005 and 2008, with stints in Cayman and Jersey.
