Practice Areas

Tristan Maultby is a Group Partner in the Banking and Finance team of the Walkers' Jersey office. Tristan advises primarily on real estate finance, Islamic finance and leveraged finance involving a wide range of Jersey holding structures, specialising in matters involving Jersey Property Unit Trusts.

Having previously practiced with a leading international law firm in London, Tristan has more than a decade's experience advising lenders and borrowers on the full life-cycle of Banking and Finance matters.

He was first admitted in England & Wales in 2009, and has been practising offshore since 2013.

Besides his real estate finance practice, Tristan also has experience of working with partnerships and companies under Jersey law, and in non-contentious restructuring of Jersey holding structures and the enforcement of Jersey security.

He is recognised by Legal 500 for the quality of his work.

Prior to joining Walkers, Tristan worked in the Banking and Finance team of another leading offshore law firm and in the Banking, Finance and Restructuring team at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP in London.
