Jason Hung is a counsel in the Regulatory & Risk Advisory Group of Walkers' Hong Kong office.Jason advises clients on regulatory obligations such as data protection, FATCA & CRS, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing obligations, sanctions controls and economic substance requirements. He has assisted clients through licensing applications and regulatory inspections and is experienced engaging with regulators.
Prior to joining Walkers, Jason worked in the Legal & Compliance Department of CITIC Capital in Hong Kong, where he handled the offshore Compliance function (covering Hong Kong, Cayman Islands and United States). Before that, he was with Deacons' regulatory team in Hong Kong.
