Theo Lefkos is a senior counsel in Walkers' Global Investment Funds Group where he advises on a broad range of matters including private equity and mutual funds, and general corporate matters, including joint ventures and the acquisition and disposal (by merger or otherwise) of Cayman companies.
Prior to joining Walkers, Theo worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of the Melbourne office of one of Australia's leading law firms, Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons). There he had extensive experience advising on a number of high profile public M&A transactions and capital raisings, as well as private M&A transactions (including private equity and joint ventures). He also has experience in corporate restructures and general corporate advisory matters.
Theo has also previously worked at the World Bank in Washington DC in the Private Sector, Financial Sector and Infrastructure Development practice group of the legal vice presidency.
