Theo Lefkos is a partner in Walkers' Global Investment Funds Group. Theo's practice focuses primarily on private equity, including fund formation and structuring and the downstream activities undertaken by private equity funds, as well as upper tier structuring of general partners. Theo also has extensive experience in general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, restructures, joint ventures and employee share plans. Theo advises a broad range of clients from start-up managers to some of the world's largest investment firms.
Prior to joining Walkers, Theo worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of the Melbourne office of one of Australia's leading law firms, Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons). There he had extensive experience advising on a number of high profile public M&A transactions and capital raisings, as well as private M&A transactions (including private equity and joint ventures). He also has experience in corporate restructures and general corporate advisory matters.
Theo has also previously worked at the World Bank in Washington DC in the Private Sector, Financial Sector and Infrastructure Development practice group of the legal vice presidency.
