Antonia Ament is a Senior Associate in the Walkers’ Jersey Investment Funds & Corporate Group specialising in regulatory and corporate matters.
Antonia has a wide-ranging practice, including experience in M&A, corporate structuring and private equity. In addition to her corporate work, Antonia advises on a range of regulatory matters, including economic substance, AML requirements, outsourcing arrangements, regulatory change of control applications and the Jersey regulatory obligations applicable to businesses established outside Jersey which wish to operate in Jersey on a cross border basis.
Prior to joining Walkers, Antonia spent over two years working in the Jersey Finance & Corporate team of another leading offshore law firm where she advised on a range of corporate, finance and regulatory matters. As part of her previous role, she was seconded to the in-house legal team of the firm’s administration business where she assisted with a broad range of regulatory and corporate matters.
Prior to moving offshore, Antonia practised in the Infrastructure, Projects and Energy Group of a major onshore firm advising on bespoke project finance and specialist M&A transactions.
She is admitted in England and is currently undertaking the Jersey Law Exams with the Institute of Law in Jersey.
