Regina Acton is a corporate governance professional and Chartered Company Secretary with over 10 years' experience within the financial service sectors. Regina's key skills include providing board governance and compliance services to fund management companies based in Ireland, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. Regina also advises on new governance requirements including the implementation of governance departments, and succession and board planning for banking institutions; the implementation of new regulations such as Central Bank CAR requirements/CP86 Fitness and Probity requirements; annual report consulting for banking institutions; and the management/execution of compliance and special projects.
Prior to joining walkers, Regina was a Vice President with another leading offshore professional services provider as part of its fiduciary business and managed a team providing company secretarial services to regulated fund entities. She also gained experience working in a leading Irish law firm, an Irish Bank, as well as leading offshore companies based in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
