Simone Burnett Lanauze is a senior associate in the Regulatory & Risk Advisory Group at Walkers' Singapore office. Simone has a broad range of experience advising banks and financial institutions in the Asia Pacific region, focusing on financial services regulation, banking and finance. She is also experienced in contentious regulatory matters having advised on regulatory investigations, professional conduct issues, as well as civil and criminal enforcement outcomes. Simone has a particular interest in legal / regulatory technology solutions and FinTech.
Prior to joining Walkers, Simone was in the Global Financial Markets practice at Clifford Chance in Singapore. She has over eight years' experience as a regulatory lawyer having worked for an international law firm, in-house at major banks in Asia Pacific, and a financial markets regulator.
