Walkers is delighted to invite you to attend our Channel Islands Employment Law Conference, which will be held at The Royal Yacht in Jersey on Tuesday 27 September and at The Old Government House in Guernsey on Wednesday 28 September.
The conference will be led by Walkers' Guernsey and Jersey employment law specialists who will be joined by keynote speaker Suzy Levy. Suzy has more than 20 years of experience delivering complex changes for large global organisations and is best known for her leadership of the people agenda. She is the Managing Director of The Red Plate, a Non-Executive Director of The Home Office, a member of the Civil Service Leadership & Learning Board, a third-sector coach for charity CEOs and a Trustee of The Women's Sport Trust. Prior to creating The Red Plate, Suzy worked for Accenture and led the strategy and implementation of some of the most progressive inclusion and diversity, employee engagement and talent initiatives in the UK and the programmes under her leadership achieved national recognition.
Speakers will explore a variety of topics including: Recruitment challenges; Benefits; Policies and procedures; Workplace culture; Diversity & Inclusion; Discrimination; and Business Protection both during and post-employment. Speakers will be discussing best practice, legislative and case law updates and current market trends giving their insight and advice on these topics to illustrate how employers can both attract and retain employees using a variety of employment law strategies.
We will end the conference with an interactive panel session including our Walkers' employment law experts who will be joined by our keynote speaker to discuss the key themes arising during the conference.
