Data Protection
The coming year will bring unprecedented change to Irish and European data protection law. With implementation due on 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) poses a major compliance challenge and introduces the prospect of severe financial penalties for non-compliance.

Anna Morgan, Head of Legal (Deputy Commissioner) ODPC will discuss the ODPC 2016 annual report, the new regulatory regime under GDPR and the ODPC's GDPR readiness preparations.
