The IWIRC & WISTA Shipping in Distress Seminar: Part II, following on from Part I held earlier this year and back by popular demand, was a great success with over 100 attendees.

The event was organised by Alexia Adda of Walkers, sponsored by Walkers (Singapore) and hosted by HFW at their new offices. The speakers, Christopher Smith QC of Essex Court Chambers, Graham Martin of KPMG, Lauren Tang of Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance and Magdalene Chew of Asia Legal LLC as Facilitator, shared practical tips and insights into how to handle the issues that typically arise when shipping companies undergo instances of severe distress, whilst analysing the trend and forecast of the distressed shipping market generally.
