Annaliese McGeoch named in prestigious eprivateclient’s NextGen Leaders List

Walkers senior associate Annaliese McGeoch has been named in this year's prestigious eprivateclient’s NextGen Leaders List, recognising the next generation of leaders in financial services.

Annaliese, a Guernsey Advocate in the firm's Investment Funds & Corporate Practice Group, has been included in the list which recognises outstanding professionals working in the legal and finance sectors with up to 17 years of experience in the private client advisory sector.

She has been in private practice in the Island since 2016, and advises on corporate M&A and restructuring matters, investment fund launches and capital raises for both open and closed ended structures, downstream private equity matters, and provides regulatory advice to structures and individuals including investor issues, structuring and regulatory compliance.

Annaliese is also the co-founder of the Guernsey Institute of Directors' Next Gen Forum and sits as vice-chair on its Next Gen Committee.

Judging for the NextGen Leaders list focuses on an individual's personal qualities and achievements, as well as feedback from senior colleagues and their progression to senior roles.

Matt Sanders, the managing partner of Walkers' Guernsey office, said: "On behalf of all of the Guernsey partnership at Walkers, congratulations to Annaliese on this thoroughly-deserved recognition.

"Since arriving at Walkers earlier this year she has made a real impact on the practice group and the wider Guernsey team, and we are delighted to see this independent recognition of her expertise and diligence."
