Walkers' Jersey and London teams advise lenders on Waldencast Acquisition Corp's acquisition of beauty brands OBAGI and Milk Makeup

Walkers' Jersey and London teams have advised JPMorgan (and other global financial institutions) as lender to Waldencast Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ: WALD), a special purpose acquisition company, on its $250 million debt facility in connection with Waldencast's acquisition of beauty brands OBAGI and Milk Makeup.

The Walkers teams, working with lead counsel Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York, were led by partners Nigel Weston in Jersey and Mark Galazzi in London. Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP acted as legal advisor to Waldencast, Latham & Watkins acted as legal counsel to Obagi and Goodwin Procter served as legal counsel to Milk Makeup.

The Walkers teams included senior counsel Elaine Kelly in Jersey and senior associate Ross Wilding in London.

Nigel Weston said: "We are delighted to have been involved in such an exciting transaction which demonstrates the popularity of Jersey and Cayman for international structuring."

Mark Galazzi added: "We are particularly pleased to have been able to provide a joined-up solution between our Jersey and London offices advising on both Jersey and Cayman law."
