Taylors Acts for Touchcorp in Merger

Taylors (in association with Walkers) has acted as Bermuda counsel to Touchcorp Limited, an ASX-listed company ("Touchcorp"), in relation to its merger with Afterpay Holdings Limited. The merger, which resulted in the creation of Afterpay Touch Group, an ASX-listed software and payments firm valued at around AU$500 million, was effected by way of interconditional schemes of arrangement conducted in Bermuda and Australia.

The Taylors team was led by Jonathan Betts who, with assistance from associates Phelecia Barnett and Benjamin Green, advised on the corporate elements of the transaction. His partners, Nicole Tovey and Kevin Taylor, acted as Bermuda counsel to Touchcorp in connection with the conduct of the scheme of arrangement, including applications made before the Supreme Court of Bermuda.

King Wood Mallesons, Sydney acted as lead counsel to Touchcorp.
