Chambers Global Practice Guide 2021: Fintech – Cayman: Law and Practice

Partners Lucy Frew and Melissa Lim, senior counsel Tony de Quintal and associate Tom Hagger have authored the Cayman Islands Law and Practice chapter in the Chambers 2021 Global Practice Guide on Fintech.

The Fintech Guide 2021 includes contributions from 36 jurisdictions and provides guidance on the current Fintech market, business models and regulation changes. Through the Cayman Islands chapter, the authors have sought to give guidance on key topics such as the evolution of the Fintech market, the Special Economic Zone, the development of blockchain, the Monetary Authority Act and amendments, the introduction of the VASP Act, regulation of the jurisdiction and more.
